Old Songs and Duct Tape

A musical comedy dinner theater being performed June 13 through September 2 - at 7 p.m. Tuesdays at Land’s End Resort and Fridays & Saturdays at Alice’s Champagne Palace. It is a musical-comedy theater piece performed as dinner-theater, with a live band. Spiced with Alaska wisdom and zest, it is a tale of three quirky women who’ve bought the establishment where they used to perform, and moved in. Their sexy leader has been keeping a secret for 20 years. The airy soprano encounters Mr. Right, the feminist rock singer trips on her lucky stars and learns the true meaning of social security. Urging them to revive their act, the sensible bartender keeps the lights on and trash out, as tourists and colorful pasts come calling. Profits benefit Homer B&B Association, Patrons of the Pratt Society, and others.

The second annual SeaFest (May 22-26) combines the Kayak Festival, Wooden Boat Show, and Seafair Safety Rodeo into one great weekend. Activities include classes, workshops, a film night, and much, much more. For more info and an itinerary check out: www.kbayseafest.org
